Preiude & Fugue

The friendship between Mexican composer Manuel Ponce and Spanish guitarist Andrés Segovia contributed significantly to the development of the guitar repertoire.
In addition, several of the composer's works that were not originally written for the guitar—such as Scherzino Mexicano, Intermezzo, and Estrellita— have been arranged and incorporated into the
guitar repertoire.
Building upon this approach, Mr. Dorukhan Ersin conducted research into additional works suitable for performance on the guitar and ultimately identified Manuel Ponce's "Prelude & Fugue", originally composed for left-hand piano, as a work adaptable to the guitar. He subsequently arranged the piece for solo guitar.
I hope that these highly valuable works, which I consider to be a significant contribution to the guitar repertoire, will be performed with appreciation by guitarists.
